Ruthless Lomachenko stops Kambosos to win IBF lightweight title in Perth

Vasily Lomachenko in his 11th round TKO of George Kambosos Jr has become a world champion across three weight divisions while he now holds the IBF title. 
 
The two-time Olympic gold medalist from Ukraine came back from one-year hiatus after a controversial loss to Devin Haney to dish out the same punishment to his opponent over 10 rounds before dropping him early in the 11th. Kambosos came out of the corner but the knockdown was still there and it was quite easy for the Lomachenko to hit him with two body shots, therefore Kambosos’ corner decided to raise the towel and to the fight. 
 
Lomachenko, aged 36, controlled the entire round, someone can even ask which minute those were, before 14,147 fans.  According to Compubox, Lomachenko ended the fight 175-40 blow by blow statistics of whom performed than Kambosos. 
 
“I decided to adapt to my opponent,” Lomachenko said after the fight. This is what I packed in the fight. And during the end I had the feeling as if the Prize round of the Challenge stared me right in the face. During the last three rounds, I was looking for his body. ”
 
Next, he spoke to Davis who posted mid-fight tweets that they would fight after both their fights against Frank Martin that he will have next month. 
 
“In boxing, I have been coming through the rounds and on to the next ones; I do not run around: we can talk about my future after I have rested for a while,” declared Lomachenko (lomachenko). 
 
Kambosos became an overnight sensation when he knocked out López in 2021 for the IBF, WBA and WBO lightweight titles at 135lbs, only to lose them again to Haney in a four-belt unification bout in 2022. 
 
“That is really the best boxer I have ever been against,” Kambosos said, adding that Roberts is an excellent boxer.  “We did our best. He deserves that belt. I had fought with my last bullet.
