WWE Holiday Tour Smashes Records With Eight Historic Gates Across North America
WWE finished 2023 well by having a big Holiday Tour. It was the biggest one they ever had, said Triple H who is in charge of finding and making shows about wrestlers.
The eight-night show began on December 26 with WWE's yearly event from Madison Square Garden in New York City. That same night, WWE had an event in Baltimore, Maryland. WWE would also hold events in Boston, Montreal, State College, Detroit, Houston and Toronto before finishing the tour at Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
WWE's Record-Breaking Holiday Tour
As we said before, WWE's comeback at Madison Square Garden had the biggest money from fans for any event not on TV in its history. That game had CM Punk coming back to fight in his first WWE match since the 2014 Royal Rumble.
On Twitter, Triple H talked more good news about the recent Holiday Tour. The wrestler who won the WWE World Championship 14 times told us that his eight-show tour had four shows sell out. For eight of the ten events on the tour, wrestling shows set new records for attendance in their arenas.
What's Next?
After having a very successful tour in history, WWE focuses on an upcoming week full of shows. Tonight's RAW will be a 'Day 1' special edition of the red team. Then, on the next day we have NXT New Year Evil. On Friday, WWE will have their 'New Year's Revolution' show of SmackDown. From that place, WWE will have the Royal Rumble on January 27. The promotion is going to Perth, Australia in February for their Elimination Chamber event. After that, they will be at WrestleMania 40 which starts in April.
